About the Cape Assist
Wellness Center

A welcoming, peer-driven space providing free, confidential support to individuals and families across Cape May County.

Our Beginning

The Cape Assist Wellness Center was established in February 2025 through the Community Peer Recovery Center Grant awarded to Cape Assist by the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS).

This grant allows us to expand peer-driven recovery support in Cape May County, ensuring individuals and families have access to essential services, advocacy, and a pathway toward long-term wellness.

The Wellness Center represents an important expansion of Cape Assist’s commitment to prevention, education, and community health.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Cape Assist Wellness Center is to provide welcoming, safe, and stigma-free support services to anyone affected by substance misuse.

We understand that substance use and mental health challenges impact the entire family — not just the individual. Our goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where individuals and families can find guidance, encouragement, and practical resources on their journey to wellness.
